Pony Tales

Those of us who have horses often also have stories to tell about them. This seems especially so when we take the ponies into nursing homes. The clientele that live in the convalescent centers are of the era where they were raised on ranches and farms. As soon as those Seniors see the ponies, their childhood horse stories come pouring out. And we love hearing them!

Enclosed in this portion of our web site are a few of our own favorite pony stories. Plus, we invite you to share with us a horse or pony tale of something that you experienced with your favorite equine. It might be a tale of something that you loved while being with one of the ponies from Hope Springs, or maybe like the seniors, you have a favorite horse yarn from your youth. We invite you to share your story with us. Whether it is a short snippet or a long essay, good or bad, funny or sad – we would be thrilled if you would share your story.
